Inspired by the beauty of Cape Cod, Designs By S & R is a local jewelry shop. The studio is on site, specializing in handcrafted, custom designs working in both gold & silver and continually changing and creating innovative new designs.
In 2013, the shop was purchased by two long term employees, Alyson Pacini & Beth Humphrey, both skilled jewelers. Here at Designs By S&R, we are passionate about our work and are honored to have shared some of the precious memories that were created and take pleasure in the growing relationships with our customers.
Designs By S&R loves to create custom jewelry, whether it is modifying an existing piece, designing a whole new item, or something in between. From fun, artsy pieces to traditional engagement & wedding rings, the sky is the limit. Handmade and created with assorted techniques, a variety of unique designs are fashioned for different stones. Themed jewelry creations are done for wedding parties, best friends, or simply something unique to the client's needs.
Steven Drysdale founded Designs By S & R in 1988. He opened his first shop in Whaler's Wharf in Provincetown, MA. After a devastating fire in 1998, Steven reopened his shop Memorial Day in Orleans, MA.
Throughout his time creating unique & innovative jewelry, Steven took Alyson & Beth on as apprentices. He encouraged them to learn new techniques and taught them technical mechanics of jewelry making, repairs and gemstones. After his retirement and several rewarding years, Alyson and Beth took over the business carrying on his traditions and knowledge of metalsmithing.
